UrbanMetrix is a site-analysis and conceptual-design software that provides site-specific design suggestions related to sun, airflow, views, and noise. This project is developed by Archimethod, with current support from the Swiss Innovation Agency (Innosuisse), the Institute of Information Systems and Networking (ISIN) of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), the European Space Agency Business Incubator Centre (ESA-BIC), and past support from the ETH Zürich and the Swiss National Science Foundation. The software-features related to the filtering, combination, and transformation of environmental data via a graphical user interface are protected by two international pending patents.
